Chris from Local Appliance Repairs was great! Our 10-year-old built-in KitchenAid refrigerator started leaking very cold water. I noticed a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. As it melted, it dripped under the freezer's bottom drawer. I called Chris on a Saturday; he came over right away and diagnosed the problem: a dirty filter at the back of the fridge was compromising the defroster system, causing the drainage line at the back of the freezer to freeze solid and stop draining. Thus, water pooled and froze solid at the bottom of the freezer. He returned on a Monday with all his tools, and in about an hour had the whole thing cleaned out and defrosted and operational once more. He recommended an annual cleaning to keep everything running well. He said he had 20 years of experience working on all kinds of appliances — 18 in Armenia and two here in the U.S. He's fast, efficient, tidy, and responsive. Highly recommended!

On 12/19 we had a power outage in our area, which caused our refrigerator Control Panel to be inoperable. Couldn't set the Temps for the freezer or fridge. The owner, Chris, came to our house at about 8pm and was able to reset the Control Panel after unplugging it and pulling it back in. We were sooo grateful for him coming at that time to help us out, as we were worried about our food possibly spoiling without the correct temps being reset.
And he also cleaned the very dirty vent in the back of the fridge, as well as the dirty floor underneath it, which we did pay extra to have done.
Chris was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He explained everything he was doing and showed us before and after pics of the vent. And he very efficient in getting everything done and in a timely manner.
We would highly recommend Chris and his company to anyone needing top-notch appliance repair services!!

Had a problem with our washer a month ago. Called Luxury Appliance Repair. Within 2 hours a repair man showed up, diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes. Ordered part (motherboard), it came in 5 days and the repairman had it up and running in 10 minutes.
Just had an other unrelated problem with same washer 1 1/2 months later, called Luxury Appliance Repair again, on a Saturday. Again within 2 hours a repairman came. This time it was the owner. Diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes. Came back out on Monday and had us up and running in 15 minutes.
This time he only charged us for the part! He says he wants happy and repeat customers.
Chris is the owner. He is friendly, efficient, and professional. He has earned our business! The receptionist in the office is very friendly as was the first repairman.

This is the BEST appliance repair service I have ever had! Chris was prompt, prepared, efficient and very knowledgeable. He had my dryer, which stooped spinning, repaired in rapid time!
He also checked my refrigerator, which is making a strange noise, identified the problem immediately and will order the part necessary. I so appreciate being able to rely on Chris for future appliance issues, and he also shared that he repairs electrical issues and plumbing. We had a leaking water line on our Kitchenaid refrigerator. They came out the same day and dianognosed the problem, and then ordered the parts. When the parts came in the next day they had it repaired. They also did some much needed routine maintenance to help ensure we wouldn't have other issues down the road. While they were here they also fixed our instant hot water dispenser. It had air in the line, so it was constantly dripping. Our Viking stove had an ignator where several of them constantly clicked while using. Parts are on order and will be fixed upon arrival. Great service and quality work.

I must say Ruben was a hero for me today! Our refrigerator went out last night ( freezer pump code) on door. My husband and I tried to fix it but failed. I looked up on line and came across LAR appliance repairs. Sarah who answered the phone said she could have someone out between 3-6 o'clock today. It was close to 1 and she called me back to say someone was head our way in 45 mins. Ruben arrived he took apart the freezer figured it out right away gave us a quote, told us what he was going to do! Im happy to say I have my fridge back!!
